FOH Restaurant Staff - Tres LA Bistro & Cafe
This application serves as the internal hub for any current Très LA employees interested in applying for positions at Très LA Bistro & Café.
POSITIONS: We’re currently hiring for the following positions (all positions are paid $19.65 per hour plus tips, unless otherwise noted)
- Hosts (Restaurant - $20-$22 per hour plus tips) – Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, set the tone for service, and assist in table maintenance.
- Servers (Restaurant) – Provide warm, professional table service, menu knowledge, and guest engagement.
Bartenders (Restaurant) – Craft beverages, maintain bar presentation, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Service Assistants (Restaurant)– Maintain table cleanliness, assist servers, and reset for new guests. Deliver food from kitchen to table with efficiency and accuracy.
Cashiers (Cafe) – Handle guest transactions, take orders, and support café operations.
Baristas (Cafe) – Prepare espresso drinks and specialty beverages, maintain café flow, and ensure quality.
These positions will support our Restaurant, Café, and Room Service operations at the Pacific Design Center.
SCHEDULE: The general work hours for these positions are divided into multiple shifts, typically spanning 7:30am–3:00pm or 2:30pm–10:30pm, depending on the role and business needs. This schedule is approximate and is subject to change.
TRANSFER: Please note that this is considered a department transfer — from the Catering Department to the Restaurant Department. In other words, you’ll be working in one or the other, not both.
If you’re looking for a consistent weekly schedule and want to be part of our restaurant opening team under General Manager Nha Quach, this is a great opportunity for you. If you’d rather continue working event-based shifts (including buyouts and special events at the PDC), no worries — you can stay right where you are, and we’ll keep you in rotation for those.
We’re specifically looking for candidates with restaurant experience for these roles. While we absolutely love our catering team, please remember that experience and an interview with the GM are required for consideration. Tenure with the company doesn’t automatically guarantee a position — we’re building a specialized restaurant team and need the right skill & experience fit for this new chapter.
Our target opening is mid-January, with training beginning in mid-December.
